Three youth in Regina have been charged with assault with a weapon following an incident early Monday morning.
Just after 1 o’clock, Regina Police responded to the 2800 block area of Abbott Road for a report of a weapons offence.
Police say the complainant stated that he confronted three youth breaking into his vehicle outside his home and that he was threatened with an edged weapon.
They then fled the scene as the man retreated.
With the assistance of the Canine Unit, police were able to arrest the suspects a short distance away.
The youth, a 16 year-old male, a 15 year-old female and a 14 year-old male will appear in Youth Provincial Court on March 26th.
