Canada’s annual inflation rate was 2.4 per cent in January; an increase of 0.3 per cent from the month before. Statistic Canada says inflation in Saskatchewan was 2.3 per cent; an increase of 0.7 per cent. Five provinces saw higher numbers. Saskatoon’s rate was 2.1 per cent; a monthly increase of 0.7 per cent. Regina rose from 1.7 per cent in December to 2.4 per cent in January.
