Allan Reid says once March rolls around, Saskatoon is all about the JUNOS.
The JUNO Award President and CEO was in the Saskatoon Media Group studio this (weds) morning for a couple of big announcements. says it is hard to believe after a year of planning that it is already here. This (wednesday) morning they also made a couple of big announcements.
Reid says Meghan Patrick, a phenomenal country artist, will be gracing the JUNO stage as will some local Saskatchewan talent which is the bluegrass band “The Dead South” out of Regina.
But the really big announcement this morning involved Jann Arden being inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame. Anne Murray is going to be in Saskatoon to induct Jann Arden. Anne Murray is Canada’s winningest Juno nominee with 25 JUNO awards to her credit.
Tickets for all JUNO events are currently on sale. Alessia Cara will be the host. The Juno Awards show closes off Juno Week on March 15th at SaskTel Centre.
