Two Regina men are facing assault charges after an incident on Friday morning.

A 20 year old male was arrested after allegedly assaulting a 39 year old female who had reported the incident to police as a domestic assault.

A 43 year old male was also arrested after retreating into the house and allegedly rushing officers with a knife sharpener. The man had to be tasered twice before police were able to arrest him.

43 year old Jason Lawerence Moise is charged with Assault and assaulting a peace officer with a weapon while 20 year old Jordan Ashley Tapotat was charged with assault. Both are expected to appear in provincial court on April 2nd.
