Saskatoon Police say a 45 year old man was attacked by three men allegedly armed with a handgun, a machete and a small knife.
The victim was stabbed and beaten near 24th Street East and 3rd Avenue North. He was walking in the area at 1:50 a.m. Friday morning when he was approached by three people. He is in hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Suspects matching the description of those involved were seen outside a nearby convenience store, two took off on foot and a police canine track failed to locate them. A third suspect however was arrested and an imitation firearm was seized.
One suspect is described as 5’8″ in height, around 30 years old with thin black hair. He was wearing a black bandana at the time. The second suspect is described as approximately 40 years old with a muscular build, bald and had facial stubble. He was wearing a bright green sweater and blue jeans.
