Around five o’clock Monday afternoon, the Saskatoon Fire Department performed a low-angle rope rescue on the river bank. A call came in that there was someone in distress in the Sutherland dog park. Because of the location and the steep and slippery conditions, the rope rescue was needed. Once brought to level ground, the male patient was brought to Medavie Services for further assessment and transport. No other details have been released.
