Green Lake RCMP say a 70 year old woman driving one vehicle involved in an accident Sunday afternoon was pronounced dead at the scene.
The accident occurred around 2:15 p.m. on Highway 155 about 45 kilometres north of Green Lake.
RCMP say their initial investigation indicates a southbound vehicle trying to pass a semi, collided with a vehicle heading north.
A teenager who was passenger in the southbound car and a 45 year old man driving the northbound vehicle were both taken to Meadow Lake and then transferred to Saskatoon with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
Alcohol is not believed to be a factor at this time although roads were snow covered and visibility was poor when the accident occurred.
