Saskatoon Police have made an arrest in connection to the shooting early Sunday morning. The call came in at 4:15 a.m. from the 900 block of 8th Street East which is the block just west of Clarence Avenue.

A 30 year old man is in court today charged with Attempted Murder and Use of a Firearm while Committing an Indictable Offence.

A 29 year old man is in hospital with life-threatening injuries. Traffic restrictions in the area were lifted around 1:30 p.m. on Sunday afternoon.
