A 19 year old man is facing more than 20 charges after an investigation into drug trafficking by the Saskatoon Police Service Drug Unit. Last Friday, officers stopped a vehicle in a parking lot on the 31 hundred block of Laurier Drive. Police say the 19 year old man had a smart phone that continually receive messages during the arrest, and about $150 cash. Police allege that, inside the vehicle, they found a backpack containing cocaine, MDMA, cannabis, psilocybin, Xanax pills, and a digital scale. They then searched an apartment on Laurier Drive and allege finding a 12 gauge shotgun, a .22 calibre rifle, a sawed-off .22 calibre rifle, ammunition, a baton, a machete, cannabis, cocaine, and drug paraphernalia. A search of a second vehicle allegedly turned up ammunition.
