Regina Police are continuing to investigate a high number of drug overdoses occurring in that city. Since the new year, police have been made aware of 92 overdoses.
Of those 92, officers have responded to 54 and have administered Narcan 18 times.
Four people have died due to overdoses, while another three fatalities remain under investigation.
On Sunday, a 21 year-old Regina man was the most recent victim of an apparent overdose.
In a news release, police say they cannot overemphasize the importance of calling 9-1-1 in the event of an overdose.
The Good Samaritan Drug Overdose Act protects anyone experiencing or anyone that is present when someone is having an overdose from charges for possession of a controlled substance when they call 9-1-1.
