The Canadian Real Estate Association says national home sales were up between January and February. Sales climbed 5.9 per cent month-to-month. On a comparison of the sales-to-new listings ratio with the long-term average, about 60 per cent of all local markets were in balanced territory in February. Apart from a few areas of Alberta and Saskatchewan, the remainder were all favouring sellers. Prices in Saskatoon have generally been stable over the past year, posting a small year-over-year gain in February of 1.1 per cent.
