A 28 year old man is in Saskatoon Police custody after allegedly threatening a Loss Prevention Officer with a knife. Monday night around nine o’clock, police were called to a business on the 17 hundred block of Preston Avenue North. The suspect fled prior to police getting there. Responding officers spotted the man and with the help of the Canine Unit, made an arrest. He is charged with Theft Under $5,000, Assault with a Weapon, Resisting Arrest, Having a Weapon Dangerous to the Public and Carrying a Concealed Weapon. He is to be in court Tuesday.
