The Saskatchewan Association of Rural Municipalities says it appreciates the provincial budget increase to municipal revenue sharing of $27 million, bringing the total this year to $278 million. RMs will receive $79 million. The organization also views the $85 million for the Saskatchewan Public Safety Agency as a positive move. SARM says the investment of $244.3 million for Business Risk Management programs offered under the federal-provincial Canadian Agriculture Partnership is also welcome news.
