Like private businesses, SGI branch issuing offices and claims offices are closed to the public except by appointment only for a certain transactions. Most SGI employees are now working from home.

Certain transactions can be completed in person, by appointment, with social distancing of 2 metres or approximately 6 feet.

You can call your motor licence issuer, or contact through email and online self-service options. Many transactions can be conducted online using MySGI.ca.

Some more common SGI services are driver’s licence renewal, vehicle registration renewals and cancellations, registration eligibility declarations, driver’s licence payments.
