Sutherland Curler Tests Positive for COVID-19, Was Curling March 12

A message for anyone curling at the Sutherland Club on March 12 or after…a member who played there on the 12th has tested positive for COVID 19.

The Sutherland Curling Club is encouraging everyone who has been their since to follow procedures outlined by Health Saskatchewan. Following is the notice sent out by the Sutherland Curling Club…

As we all have been listening to the news with regards to Covid 19 and the number of cases in Saskatchewan and the on going restrictions imposed by the government, The Sutherland Curling Club knew that it was a matter of time before we would have to make this statement to our members.

A member has made me aware by e-mail that they had tested positive for the Covid 19 virus and had participated in league play on Thursday March 12th. The opposing team was notified by telephone. This e-mail is to advise everyone that attended the club on or after the March 12th date should be following the proper procedures as outlined by Health Saskatchewan.

Please go to the following Covid 19 website for steps to flatten the curve and do our part to help reduce any further transmission of the virus and to keep yourself and those around you safe..

Please be safe, stay isolated as much as possible. If you need to go out please adhere to the physical distance rule of 2 meters.
