There are nine new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Saskatchewan.
That brings the provincial total to 104.
Six people are hospitalized: one in the North region; three are hospitalized in Regina with one person in ICU and two people are hospitalized in Saskatoon with one of the two in the intensive care unit.
The Saskatchewan government says six cases are the result of local transmission. The rest are travel related.
COVID-19 By the Numbers:
– 49 cases are in the 20-44 age range;
– 33 are in the 45-64 range;
-18 cases have been confirmed in the 65-plus range; and
– 57 per cent of the cases are males and 43 per cent are females.
-7,580 COVID-19 tests have been performed by the Roy Romanow Provincial Laboratory.
As of Friday, there have bee more than 255-thousand sessions completed on the self-assessment tool online.
