City of Saskatoon officials say they are constantly reassessing developments to ensure the safety and well-being of staff and citizens and how the City delivers public services during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The city has made more changes in response to the pandemic.
The city is extending a three-month grace period to provide residents with additional time to pay 2020 property taxes. Currently, notices state property tax is due June 30th but citizens will not incur late payment penalties until the new due date of September 30th.
Residents paying monthly installments can request to be removed at any time, however the full amount will be also due at the September 30th deadline.
Utility disconnections and late payment charges will also be suspended until September 30. Utility customers will have the option to delay bill payments without putting themselves in additional financial hardship.
