As of Tuesday morning, Canada had 7708 cases of reported COVID-19.
A week ago, there were 2792. That’s a 176 per cent increase over a week.
Coincidentally, Saskatchewan’s numbers as of Monday were 176 confirmed cases.
Canada’s Public Health Agency says to date, 283 cases have been hospitalized, including 89 in intensive care.
66 people have died from the virus.
From those who have contracted the virus, the most commonly reported symptom is a cough at 79 per cent, 56 per cent report chills and 55 per cent get headaches.
