Saskatoon Police deployed a Conducted Energy Weapon just before nine o’clock last night after allegedly confronting a man carrying a knife at 22nd Street and Avenue I. Police say the man refused to drop the knife and was acting irrationally. The 48 year old man was tased and taken into custody. He is facing a charge of Possessing a Dangerous Weapon. The incident will be reviewed in accordance with police policy.
