Prince Albert City Council has approved further relief measures to ease the financial pressures on residents and business from the effects of COVID-19. Property owners with serious financial hardship because of interrupted income or business impact will have their tax payment deadline moved to September 30th, provided they qualify under the COVID-response tax deferral program. That has to be established by June 15th. Forms will be available on the City’s website and can be submitted electronically. The city will keep billing for utilities; however, as of April 1st, there are no penalties on water account’s in arrears until September 30th. A reminder letter indicating a past due account will still be mailed.
