The shake-up in Saskatchewan men’s curling continued Friday morning with blockbuster news.
The skips of the last two provincial Tankard champions are joining forces as Kirk Muyres leaves his own team to join the Matt Dunstone foursome. Muyres is leaving behind his Saskatoon-Nutana quartet of brother Dallan and the Marsh twins…Kevin and Daniel…the 2019 Saskatchewan champions, to become the second with Dunstone, Braeden Moskowy and Dustin Kidby out of Regina. Muyres replaces Catlin Schneider on the Dunstone squad that won the Tankard in February and finished third at the Tim Horton’s Brier in Kingston last month. There’s sure to be more changes in the Saskatchewan men’s game with the three members of the former Muyres’ team having an opening while Schneider and Colton Flasch are on the free agent market as well.
