Investigators have determined that a basement fire in a Pleasant Hill home early Thursday morning was incendiary. The 911 call came in at 3:07 a.m. and the person on the other end was told to evacuate.
A fire in the bathroom was put out within 20 minutes of the 911 call coming in.
The building at 1817 20th Street west was ventilated and the occupant of the building was deemed minimally exposed to smoke.
Investigators say the fire originated inside a plumbing appliance and they have estimated damage $10-thousand.
