Saskatoon Police have charged a 23 year-old Saskatoon man with driving in excess of 100 kilometer-per-hour in a 50 kilometer-per-hour speed zone.
At approx. 11:00 p.m. on Friday, a patrol officer clocked a vehicle at a speed of 109 km/hr. in a 50 km/hour speed zone near Cumberland Avenue and 8th Street East.
The driver was issued a $900 ticket and his vehicle has been impounded for 7 days.
Police would like to remind motorists to obey the traffic laws and arrive at their destination safely.
