Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, Usask researchers in physiotherapy, rehabilitation science, and neurology are combining their expertise to provide free online virtual programing to people with neurological conditions. The program will begin on Thursday with a twice-weekly video conference. Physiotherapist Doctor Sarah Donkers says, “The ultimate goal is to provide people who have Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, and spinal cord injuries with access to support and health experts.” The program isn’t limited to people living in Saskatchewan; anyone can join. It will run Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2p m until 3 pm.
