The provincial chamber of commerce is happy with Saskatchewan’s plan to reopen in the coming weeks.
CEO Steve McLellan says the input they have received from discussions with their members has been heard in the plan.
He says now it’s up to the business community and the general public to follow the guidelines and to make sure they are not working against the best intentions of the provincial government and health officials.
McLellan added that people will have to be aware that sales at businesses that slowly open during the first stages of the plan may be very slow for the first while.
McLellan realizes people are asking about the dates with phases 3 to 5, but he says they trust the science and that they have confidence in the province’s chief medical health officer when making those calls down the road.
