Five people charged with first degree murder in connection to a Prince Albert man’s death have had their charges stayed.
There has been a stay of proceedings for Joseph Okimaysim, Emilio Bouvier, Kenneth Bear, Keegan Eagle and Lindsay Henderson.
A stay of proceedings is a ruling to stop or suspend a proceeding temporarily or indefinitely .
The court may later lift the proceedings.
On March 22nd of 2019, Prince Albert Police responded to an assault at a downtown apartment where 22 year old Kristopher Charles, was found critically injured.
