A police chase that started in Saskatoon ended with the vehicle in a ditch at Highway 12 and Township Road 404, about 38 kilometres north of the city. Saskatoon Police say they tried to stop the vehicle around 3:30 this morning (thurs) around Avenue I and 22nd Street, but the driver took off. Air Support kept an eye on it as it left the city, heading towards Martensville. Corman Park Police used a tire deflation devise to disable the vehicle. The driver is charged with Evade Police and Breach of Probation. Two women inside the vehicle were released without criminal charges although tickets were issued for open alcohol.
