The roar of the engines and navigating the tight turns at Wyant Group Raceway is on hold until further notice.
The Saskatoon Stock Car Racing Association announced that the start of their 2020 season is being delayed. That means all race dates are on hold, subject to Federal and Provincial regulatory guideliness with regards to larger public gatherings. WYANT GROUP RACEWAY SEASON DELAYED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE:
The ‘5-Phase Re-Open Saskatchewan’ plan has been announced; in light of current Covid-19 social distancing challenges and other applicable restrictions, the non-profit Saskatoon Stock Car Racing Assoc., operating as Wyant Group Raceway, will postpone the 2020 racing season to a date yet to be determined. Although the 2020 season was scheduled to begin May 30th and continue to Sept. 20th, all dates have been placed on hold subject to Federal and Provincial regulatory guidelines allowing the consideration of larger public gatherings.
For over 55 years the SSCRA has been committed to preserving the sport of stock car racing and looks forward to being back on the track when doing so is safe for our fans and race teams.
