The Prime Minister and the premiers held a conference call Thursday night to talk about the evolving COVID-19 situation. They talked about co-ordinated actions to protect the health, and safety of Canadians and to support workers and businesses. The Prime Minister updated the premiers on the release of the most recent federal modelling data on the spread of the virus. He told them that the collective measures being taken by Canadians are working. According to the federal government, the leaders agreed that continued collaboration is needed. The premiers talked about the plans they are putting forward in each of their regions to support restarting the economy.
