Saskatoon RCMP has been participating in a joint investigation with numerous other detachments across central Saskatchewan as they try to solve a series of break and enters, thefts and property related crimes.
Police have surveillance videos showing an unknown male and white Ford F150 truck and now they’ve garnered more information about the truck which has led to the identity of the registered owner as being 37 year old Cody Kemick.
On Saturday, officers from Saskatoon Provincial GIS along with Saskatoon, Outlook, Rosetown and Humboldt detachments executed a search warrant at Kemick’s home in Saskatoon where Kemick and another person living in the home were arrested.
Police seized approximately $35,000 worth of stolen property including things like tools, computers, electronic devices, ammunition, cheques, hair salon products, lottery tickets and clothing believed to be from B and E’s in Luck Lake, Dinsmore, Rosetown, Kerrobert, Aberdeen, Humboldt, Milden, Conquest and Saskatoon.
Kemick faces 14 charges and 40 year old Chantal Dubois of Saskatoon faces 6 charges. They are both in court Wednesday and the investigation is still ongoing.
