The Saskatoon Community Foundation has decided to reschedule the Walk with the Wind event to September 18th, 2021. COVID-19 and the problems with large gatherings are to blame. Over the past 13 years, the gala has raised over $3.8 million for community organizations. Since 2017, it has concentrated on raising awareness and funds for reconciliation. Despite the postponement, the Foundation is going to disburse $100 thousand through the Community Fund for Reconciliation to help the many organizations that are facing funding issues because of the pandemic.
