Between wildfires, grassfires, and a pandemic, the province is encouraging residents to be prepared during this, “Emergency Preparedness Week.” People are encouraged to identify their risks, build a kit, and have a plan. Government Relations Minister Lori Carr says most emergency kits contain water, non-perishable food, money, mediation, a flashlight, identification and insurance documents. She also says this is the perfect time to download the SaskAlert app if you don’t already have it. A link to the app can be found here. For information about preparing for an emergency go here.
