The largest residential building in Saskatchewan’s history is under construction in downtown Saskatoon. Baydo Development Corporation is building on the corner of 25th Street and 5th Avenue. It will include two towers, each 25 stories tall. There will be 426 one and two bedroom residential rental units. There will be a rooftop patio and even a pet wash station. The company says there will be four levels of underground parking. Commercial space will take up 11 thousand square feet of the main floor. Baydo Development says the project will employ hundreds of people and it is expected to create more than $100 million of economic investment in the province. Completion is expected for late 2022.
