Regina Police say a 76 year old man is facing a charge of Impaired Driving Causing Bodily Harm after a pedestrian was struck and a garage door was driven into. Around 9:20 Saturday night, police were sent to the 41 hundred block of Preston Crescent where police found a female on the road who had injuries described as serious but not life-threatening. She was taken to hospital by EMS. The suspect vehicle had struck the garage door and the vehicles inside. The driver was still behind the wheel. In addition to the impaired charge, Shangara Singh Gill is charged with Failure or Refusal to Comply with a Demand. He is to be in Provincial Court in July.
