Battlefords RCMP responded to shots fired at 2 homes early Tuesday morning.
Around 2:30 in the morning, officers responded to a home in the 1200 block of 108th Street in North Battleford and found an man with non life threatening injuries.
He was taken to hospital for treatment and police determined the shot came from outside the home and struck the man inside.
The RCMP do not believe this was a random attack.
An hour later, another home was shot at in the 1700 block of Trudeau.
Police were told later in the morning when the owner woke up and noticed the bullet holes.
It’s believed the home was targeted by mistake.
Anyone with video footage from the area that hasn’t already been contacted by investigators is asked to call the Battlefords RCMP.
The investigation into both these shooting incidents is continuing.
