Saskatoon Mayor Charlie Clark calls the announcement a significant announcement for the city of Saskatoon and the province. He says its an important message of getting people back to work and building a strong province into the future.
Clark says the city is estimating the investment will see between $32 and $34 million to Saskatoon for infrastructure projects, and comes with quite a degree of flexibility to be able to meet a variety of needs.
He adds the intention will be to stretch those dollars as far as possible to improve investment into the community, get people back to work and potentially address any funding challenges.
