The Saskatoon Public Library is gathering donations for vulnerable youth during COVID-19. Staff are building kits for kids up to 18. They want young people who have to stay at home, to have fun while following physical distancing protocols. New and sealed toys, games and books can be dropped off at the front doors of the Rusty Macdonald Branch on Primrose Drive. Art supplies, skipping ropes, sidewalk chalk and outdoor games are also welcome. Not wanted are used items, anything requiring batteries, or anything plush or made of fabric. To date, nearly 300 kits have been made through personal and business donations.
