With great optimism the Saskatchewan Rattlers released a training camp roster which features nine members of last year’s championship team. General manager Barry Rawlyk says these are special guys. The returnees include captain Alex Campbell, sharpshooter Negus Webster-Chan and fan favourite Tavrion Dawson. Announcing a training camp roster now might seem to indicate an insight into the return of basketball but Rawlyk isn’t offering up anything earth shattering. He says they have been getting updates from the CEBL head office which has been working hard and having to work around all the different provincial guidelines and working within that framework to make something happen this season.
