Saskatoon Police responded to a call of an injured man who had reportedly been stabbed Saturday afternoon, in the 100 block of Edinburgh Place.
Police responded at at 3:55 p.m. and found a 38-year-old man suffering from an injury to his back. Medavie Health Services was called to the scene and transported the man to hospital. A 22-year-old man, who is believed to be known to the victim, left the scene prior to police arrival. Attempts to locate this suspect will continue.
Police say the name of the suspect is not being released at this time and injuries to the victim are not believed to be life-threatening.
