The long-awaited opening weekend of the local season, with COVID-19 guidelines and restrictions, seemed to go well in the province for the most part.
The Willows Golf and Country Club reported over 300 players on, both, Friday and Saturday with slightly less numbers on Sunday and Monday. The Saskatoon Golf and Country Club said over 230 members were out for each of the four days of the long weekend. Both courses started foursomes off every 12 minutes with physical distancing and all other government restrictions and guidelines in place.
