Two teens were arrested Monday morning after reportedly refusing to stop for Police.
At approximately 3:20 a.m., Patrol Officers responded to reports of a domestic dispute in the area of 19th Street West and Avenue R South. Upon arrival, police say, the individuals involved were seen fleeing the area in a red Hyundai Santa Fe.
The vehicle was reported stolen out of Kamsack. Police attempted to stop the vehicle but say the driver refused to pull over. Two sets of tire deflation devices were deployed and the vehicle came to a stop on Circle Drive, west of Clarence Avenue.
Officers arrested the male drive and female passenger without incident. A 17 year old male from Keeseekoose First Nation is charged with Evade Police, Possession of Stolen Property Over $5000 and Breach of Undertaking. A 16 year old female from Kamsack, SK is charged with public intoxication.
