A Saskatoon man has been arrested and is facing child porn charges. The Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation Unit executed a search warrant at a Saskatoon address identified as the location where a person was sharing child pornography using a popular social media chat application.
Police say they found child pornography at the home and seized two cell phones, two laptops, two external hard drives and a cloud account.
37 year old Steven A. McEwen was in court Thursday on two counts of Possession of Child Pornography and one count of Make Available Child Pornography. He is back in court August 10th.
The Saskatchewan ICE Unit includes investigators from RCMP, Regina Police Service, Saskatoon Police Service, and Prince Albert Police Service.
