The City of Saskatoon says drivers may expect to find delays on expressways including Circle Drive Monday to Thursday evenings from eight o’clock until six the next morning for the next three to four weeks. The city is beginning street sweeping in the centre lanes, Tuesday evening. The street sweeping vehicle will travel with a police escort to enforce speeding and other work zone infractions. On and off ramps will be temporarily closed while the sweeping is being completed. Drivers must slow down and respect work zones including mobile ones. The km/h charge for traveling in excess of the posted speed limit in a construction zone is double. Driving 20 km/h over the speed limit will cost you $440; 40 clicks over will cost $1,008.
