Saskatoon Blades and Saskatchewan Rattlers fans can now buy up to 50 tickets at a time for Super Sports Saturday, put on by SaskTel Centre.
Tickets are $2.00 apiece to watch either the Rattlers C-E-B-L championship win over Hamilton from last August…beginning Saturday at 3 o’clock…or the Blades’ 2013 Memorial Cup triumph over Halifax…starting shortly before 7 p.m. Buy your links for Saturday through the Blades, Rattlers or SaskTel Centre websites. The goal is to, virtually, break the SaskTel Centre attendance record of 16,874 from the 2018 Metallica concert with funds raised going to COVID-19 charities. SASKATOON, SK – The clock is ticking down as we approach a landmark day for the Sasktel Centre, in partnership with the Saskatoon Blades and Saskatchewan Rattlers. Prizes are up for grabs as we encourage fans to purchase $2 tickets for Super Sports Saturday, with proceeds going towards COVID-19 relief efforts in our province!
Fans have the chance to win a custom-made PS4, decked out Blade City style, with every purchase of five tickets ($10). Should we raise $2500, every ticket sold will also be thrown into a draw to win a custom Blades jersey! More prizes will be unveiled as more tickets are sold, so be sure to share this link with your friends and help spread the word!
Fans purchasing Blades tickets will get to relive the 2013 Memorial Cup victory over the Halifax Mooseheads at SaskTel Centre. The special retro broadcasts will be accessible online through a link sent out after purchasing the $2 digital tickets. The Blades will have a pre-game show hosted by Mitch Bach and Les Lazaruk featuring special guests from the memorable match back in 2013. The Blades broadcast will go live at 7:00pm on Saturday May 30th. Fans purchasing digital tickets for the Saskatchewan Rattlers will be able to tune in live at 3:00pm this coming Saturday to rewatch the Rattlers 2019 CEBL Championship final win. Fans will be in the “virtual crowd” to break SaskTel Centre’s all-time attendance record of 16,874 [set at Metallica in 2018].
Tickets for Super Sports Saturday are $2.00 each (no taxes, no fees). Fans have the option to purchase tickets for both teams.
Each ticket sold counts as a seat in the virtual attendance and is one entry into the prize draws. There is no ticket limit. Fans are encouraged to band together to support the Saskatoon Blades & Saskatchewan Rattlers efforts and our community.
