Tammy Cook Searson was re-elected as Chief of the Lac La Ronge Indian Band in the 2020 elections held this week.

Nine of the councillors were also re-elected and new to the Band Council are Devin Bernatchez from the Sucker River Reserve and Jimmy Charles with Stanley Mission Reserve.

Electronic voting started May 11th and wrapped up Monday which is when in person voting took place through till Tuesday. The Chief and Council are elected for a three year term expiring on March 31st, 2023.
