Residential construction investment in Saskatchewan rose about 13 per cent in March. Statistics Canada says that was the best showing of the five provinces that saw increases. Nationally, there was a decline of about three per cent. Total investment in Saskatchewan came to $176.5 million. On the non-residential side, investment here declined two per cent. The only province with an increase was Prince Edward Island at 1.4 per cent. The national average was a drop of about four per cent. Total investment in Saskatchewan in March was about $114 million.
