The Saskatchewan Research Council has been handed $15 million from the province for a project that the government says will bring immediate jobs to Saskatchewan’s construction industry and a long-term impact to Saskatchewan’s mining and minerals industry through increased production and cost-savings. The project involves consolidating SRC’s mining and minerals operations into a single building. President and CEO Mike Crabtree says this will allow the organization to optimize and expand expertise and capabilities.
