Access Communications employees raised $11,585 in support of Food Banks of Saskatchewan.
The money was raised through internal fundraising to help provide bulk food purchasing, food hamper delivery and staff during the COVID-19 crisis.
The campaign included donations from hundreds of employees as well as contributions from Access Communications Co-operative and the Access Communications Employees’ Association.
Tom Boyko, President of the Employees’ Association says they have been fortunate to avoid layoffs during the pandemic and it was only right to show their gratitude and support by helping those not as fortunate in difficult times.
