A 28 year old man charged with 2nd degree murder will be sentenced on July 14th after pleading guilty to the lesser charge of manslaughter.
32 year old Robin Godfrey was found dead in the open courtyard of an apartment/condo complex at 219 Avenue K South on April 20th of last year.
Saskatoon Police say Godfrey was shot.
It was the city’s third of sixteen homicides in 2019.
Police reported that Jamie Terrance Halkett was known to have previous associations with street gangs and he was wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for breach of parole.
