Monday brings about Phase 3 of the Re-Open Saskatchewan plan…and the City of Saskatoon has an opening and a re-opening to go along with the occasion.
The Transit Customer Service Centre is open with installation of plexi-glass to protect Transit pass vendors. All locations are able to sell the products they did prior to the suspension of Transit bus fares. In addition, Transit riders who had a valid pass for March of 2020 can get a June pass at no charge…but only available at the Transit Customer Service Centre.
As for a re-opening, businesses coming back on board Monday, following weeks of no activity, may notice water quality changes due to stagnant water in their plumbing pipes. The City is encouraging businesses that serve customers to follow inspection and flushing recommendations as outlined on the city’s website. This applies to businesses re-opening that haven’t used their water for a while for the safety of staff and customers.
